Vaccinations: Dogs can only be accepted for boarding on the condition they have a full up to date vaccination card including the kennel cough vaccine, This vaccine is not to be administered within two weeks of boarding, Vaccination cards are to be kept on the premises whilst your dog is boarding.
All flea, tick or worm treatment is to be up to date any dogs found to be hosting parasites will be treated at their owner’s cost.
Payment: Rates are charged daily regardless of drop off and collection times. Your dog’s kennel is reserved from 10am until 5pm on your drop off and collection day.
Payment is accepted by means of bacs, card or cash.
50% of boarding fees is required at the time of booking with the remainder of fees to be paid week prior to boarding or on arrival.
Reductions will not be made for early returns all days are to be paid for.
Opening hours: Dogs will only be received and released within opening hours which are
10-11am & 4-5pm.
Please respect opening hours they are in place for the dog’s wellbeing.
Bedding & Belongings: You are welcome to leave a blanket or vetbed for your dog if it is in a clean condition, no other types of bedding will be accepted. You are welcome to leave toys for your dog, but no responsibility will be accepted for these in the event of them been chewed or potentially lost during cleaning of the kennels. If your dog is likely to chew then toys will not be allowed for safety reasons.
Accident & illness: In the event of either an accident or illness your dog will be taken to Bishop’s Castle veterinary practice unless your dog has an ongoing illness or condition in which case, we are happy to liaise with your vet. All costs to be borne by the owner.
It is emphasized whilst every care and attention is given to your dog we accept no responsibility for injury due to behaviour with dogs sharing kennels.
Dogs will only share kennel space and exercise together if from the same household and with the signed consent.
Dog’s do not encounter one another unless from the same household.
The proprietor reserves the right to turn away any dog that they feel is not suitable for boarding.
We do not accept aggressive dogs, if your dog shows signs of aggression yourself or your emergency contact will need to collect your dog immediately.
In the event of an emergency for example fire or flood you will be contacted as well as your nominated emergency contact. They will be asked to collect the dog therefore your contact needs to be local and aware they have been nominated, your vet can be used with written consent from them.
