Making sure we have what your friend needs

Whilst your dog is boarding here at Stoneybridge we want their stay to be as comfortable as possible. We understand that leaving your dog for boarding can be a daunting prospect so we have put together a couple of lists in order to help you pack for their holiday with us.

Kennel cough

Stoneybridge is a kennels that insists on the kennel cough vaccine, this needs to be administered well in advance of boarding, dogs are not allowed to be boarded within a two week period after having been given the vaccine.

What to bring:

  • Vaccination card, up to date and signed by your vet
  • Your dog's food, this is to be ideally portioned into individual meals in sandwich bags or sealed containers, if bringing in a sack of feed please provide the scoop that you use at home, this is to ensure that your dog is getting exactly the amounts you wish them to have.
  • Collar & Lead
  • You are welcome to bring in toys, treats and a blanket or vetbed, all items bought in are to be freshly laundered

What not to bring:

  • No fibre filled or soft beds. Please bring blankets or vetbed only
  • No bowls unless a slow feeder/maze bowl is used
  • No items of clothing e.g tshirts, dressing gowns or slippers!
  • No toys or bedding that are chewed, damaged or dirty
  • No plastic oval beds
  • No bones raw or cooked

What Stoneybridge supplies free of charge:

  • High rise platform beds
  • Vetbed bedding
  • Winalot shapes for treats so nobody goes without

Flea, tick and worming

Please ensure your dogs flea, tick and worming are up to date, any additional guests will mean you incur a charge.
